2017 Hyundai Accent Overview!!!

The 2017 Hyundai Accent is the smallest and most affordable vehicle in the automaker’s lineup and slots below the Veloster, Elantra, Sonata, and the Azera.

The spacious interior of the Accent offers comfort and refinement that’s unique to its class. The standard features include glare-blocking sliding sunvisors, a one-touch triple turn signal and an available auto-up driver’s power window control. It also include front map pockets with bottle holders, a storage tray, dual front cupholder, a front glove compartment and available sliding armrest with storage.

The available steering-wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls that help enhance your driving comfort, confidence and control. A 6-speaker audio system guarantees great sounds. There’s plenty of headroom, legroom, and ease of entry and exit for tall passengers, in front.

The Accent has available jewel-like projector headlights with LED accents, and available 16-inch alloy wheels add the perfect finishing touch. It’s hatchback gives you the option to load up gear through the rear hatch with incredible ease. The fluid styling of the Accent Hatchback extends all the way to the rear spoiler and its unique, aerodynamic design.

The Accent Hatchback has a longer wheelbase and overall length that creates more room in the car for you to stretch out and kick back. It has standard 16-inch alloy wheels with low rolling resistance silica tires.

The Accent features an eco-efficient 1.6-liter GDI engine that generates 137 horsepower and 123 lb.-ft. of torque. The 4-cylinder can be coupled with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC. All Accent models with automatic transmission have an Active ECO System that modifies engine and transmission control for improved fuel economy.

The usage of low rolling resistance silica tires ensures a more efficient ride. The Alternator Management System monitors and manages electric power delivery from the engine to the battery while the vehicle is slowing down and idling. It features an engine that provides consistent power in a variety of driving situations and delivers an EPA-estimated 37 MPG on the highway.

The Accent’s standard safety systems react instantly to help you avoid an accident. It  comes with standard stability control and active front head restraints, as well as six airbags (front, front-side and full-length side-curtain). When Electronic Stability Control (ESC) senses a skid is imminent, it responds immediately by applying the appropriate amount of braking to individual wheels and adjusting throttle input.

The Traction Control System (TCS) detects wheel slip and applies the brakes as needed, then transfers power to the wheels that are stable. Other features include Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Brake Assist.

Hyundai Automatic Technologies – Innovation at its Finest

Scratch recovery clear (SRC) uses the elasticity of special chemically composed matters in a clear paint that has self-healing properties. Scratches are automatically fixed over a period of time.

Scratch Shield is a clearcoat that is more scratch resistant compared with conventional clearcoats, helping a vehicle maintain its new look for a longer period of time. The paint also repairs fine scratches, restoring a vehicle’s surface close to its original state. Nissan will continue to expand the adoption of Scratch Shield globally.

A special highly elastic resin has been combined with a conventional clearcoat to increase the paint’s flexibility. This has also increased its strength by raising the resin density.

-The paint does not self-repair if scratches are deep enough to sever the bonds within the clearcoat or if the clearcoat has been peeled off.
-The amount of time required for self-repair depends on the surrounding temperature and the depth of the scratch. In some cases, restoration may take up to one week.

Solar cells are a representative form of environmentally-friendly and renewable energy. We are applying solar cells to automobile sunroofs and using the A/C fan operation to reduce the A/C load during summertime while enhancing cooling performance and cooling fuel efficiency.

While solar is great as a source of energy and something we follow diligently here, it requires a great deal of space to make it worthwhile for transportation applications. In reality, not much power would have been gained. The previous panels were 50watts or about a 6th of a solid 3’x5′ solar panel. It will reportedly be able to charge your battery pack to contribute to the vehicle’s electric range.

Nanotechnology is utilized to automatically remove water or dust from the front windshield without the need for wipers. Space holographic technology is a progressive technology that displays various driving and driver convenience information on the front windshield in the form of a 3D hologram.

How does it work?

The windshield is made of a special glass with four high-tech layers that change the characteristics of glass at the molecular level.

The outermost layer is based on titanium dioxide: filters the sun and waterproofs the windshield.

The second layer of glass is actually made up of microscopic dust pushing dirt on the sides of the glass.

The third layer contains sensors that sense the dirtiness and wetness of the windshield.

Like an LCD display, the fourth layer conducts electricity, needed to power this complex multilayer windshield.

The non-pneumatic tires eliminate the possibility of flat tires with its special honeycomb-shaped tires or wheels that are covered in rubber on the outside.

Lastly, these tires practically eliminate the possibility of flat tires because the honeycomb design eliminates the need for air to be in the tire at all.

Benefits will be No Flat Tires – Ever, You Won’t Need a Spare Tire, Reduced Co2 Emissions and Eco-Conscious.

2017 Hyundai Azera – Large, Luxurious and Powerful!!!

The Azera is a mid-size car that is generally bigger than a lot of the average mid-sized sedans on the market. The 2017 Azera falls in between the Sonata and the Genesis in Hyundai’s lineup

Azera contains one of the best-looking interiors made by Hyundai, apart from its Genesis luxury-brand vehicles. Azera’s spacious cabin and standard features includes leather seating surfaces and an 8-inch touchscreen navigation system. The driver and passengers enjoy an array of seating enhancements that include standard front and rear heated seats plus ventilated front seats.

Azera’s interior lighting system adds a soft, ambient light that’s beautiful and welcoming. The standard power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel features cruise, audio and phone controls. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay also come standard on the Azera!

The 2017 Hyundai Azera is a sophisticated interpretation of the dramatic design language that creates a sense of speed and movement. It has much more of a luxurious, classy feel than a sporty feel. Azera’s LED front accent lights plus available HID Xenon headlights and LED fog lights flank an elegantly curved grille, helping the driver see and be seen with its jewel-like facets.

The available panoramic tilt-and-slide sunroof opens up Azera’s spacious interior to a world of natural light and expansive views. The chrome-tipped dual exhaust system sits beautifully within the rear bumper.

The 3.3L V6 engine creates an effortless flow of power and surprising fuel efficiency using advancements that include Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT). Its smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC makes skillful use of all the power its V6 engine generates efficiently applying it to the road.
azera performance
It delivers a sophisticated handling response in a variety of driving situations and a smooth ride over road surfaces with SACHS Amplitude Selective Damping shock absorbers. Both the standard 18-inch and available 19-inch alloy wheels enhance the Azera’s appearance and performance.

Hyundai’s list of safety equipment for the Azera is quite extensive—both trims receive antilock brakes (ABS), blind-spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert, a full set of airbags, traction and stability control, and Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics system. The Limited trim adds forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, high-intensity-discharge (HID) headlights, rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop/start technology.

Lane Departure Warning helps drivers maintain vehicle control and lane positioning. Azera’s available rear parking sensors make backing up easier. Its nine-airbag safety system includes two front airbags, four front and rear side-impact airbags, two side-curtain airbags, and even a driver’s knee airbag.

2017 Hyundai Sonata – Redefining the Sedan!!!

The 2017 Sonata continues to define the intermediate sedan segment over seven generations of progress. The innovative design makes a bold statement of confidence and refinement.

The Interior offers much to enjoy such as an available leather-wrapped steering wheel and 8-inch touch screen navigation with rearview camera. The Sonata has more passenger and total interior space than any other vehicle in its class. The available rear side sunshades are integrated into the door panels, so they’re out of sight when not in use, and can be easily raised by hand.

Storage bins are bountiful, and trunk space totals a generous 16.3 cubic feet. Seat-folding levers are located in the trunk. The glovebox and console are deep enough to hold tablet computers.

The new Sonata comes with chrome trimming around the windows, as well as 16-inch alloy wheels. It gives you a choice of either an available power tilt-and-slide sunroof or a panoramic sunroof. The Dynamic Bending Light is designed to turn the headlights with the direction of the curve as you turn the steering wheel.

The Sport and Limited models include a unique front grille, side rocker panels with chrome molding, side mirror-mounted turn-signal indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels and dual exhaust tips, while the Sport 2.0T and Limited 2.0T add 18-inch alloy wheels, quad exhaust and rear diffuser.

The 2017 Hyundai Sonata offers three engines across its six trim lines. The standard 2.4L Gasoline Direct Injection(GDI) 4-cylinder engine is mated to a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic transmission for performance and fuel economy in perfect balance.
The body of Sonata was constructed using advanced high strength steel forged in Hyundai’s own steel mill. The sonata’s fully independent suspension has been calibrated to provide an ideal blend of handling composure and ride comfort.

The Automatic Emergency Braking system uses both a camera and radar sensor. Lane Change Assist measures the closing speed of an approaching vehicle in the adjacent lane to determine if changing lanes is safe and if it’s not, gives a warning the driver can both see and hear.

The available Automatic High Beam Assist automatically switches from high to low beam headlights when an oncoming vehicle is detected. Available distance sensors embedded into the rear bumper make parking as simple as driving. It also includes seven standard airbags to protect you if the unavoidable occurs.

IONIQ: Hyundai’s First Hybrid, Electric & Plug-in Hybrid Car!!!

Hyundai claims that the Ioniq is the first car to be offered as either a pure electric model, a plug-in hybrid or a conventional hybrid model.

What is IONIQ?

IONIQ is the latest vehicle innovation from Hyundai. The all-new IONIQ is the world’s first vehicle to feature three electrified powertrain options — Hybrid, Electric and Plug-In.  It has  environmentally conscious technologies that help reduce automotive pollution. The vision of Hyundai is to lead the industry by developing advanced propulsion vehicles that are fun to drive, have great style and that benefit the environment.

The Ioniq weighs 60kg lighter than a regular family hatchback, because of using aluminium for key parts of the car, instead of high-strength steel. The car’s alloy wheels have been designed specifically to disturb air minimally as it passes under the car. All Ioniqs are fitted with front and rear lip spoilers to direct air as it flows around the car.

Ioniq Design

The spacious interior of the IONIQ is charged with distinct design cues. The seven-inch infotainment touchscreen removes the need for several dashboard buttons and is the ‘nerve centre’ of the interior. It’s compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing you to safely (and legally) control features on your smartphone while at the wheel.

Ioniq Interior

Enjoy maximum versatility with expansive cargo space and 60/40 split fold seats. Plenty of head, shoulder and legroom is assured for all occupants and boot space is claimed to be best-in-class. The Hybrid has is 443 litres of boot space, while the Electric has 350.

Three Ways to Electrify Your Drive

Deciding on the right IONIQ for you depends on how often you drive, how far you drive, and your driving style. Whichever you choose, every IONIQ is engineered to deliver a rewarding and engaging drive to suit your lifestyle.

Ioniq Hybrid

The IONIQ Hybrid delivers performance, impressive efficiency and low emissions. The electric motor recharges on the move, while a Dual Clutch Transmission delivers smooth automatic gear changes. The hybrid combines a specially designed 1.6-litre petrol engine and an electric motor producing 43bhp.

Ioniq Electric

The IONIQ Electric allows you to drive for up to 174 miles on a single charge – all emission-free. It achieves this via an 88 kW electric motor designed to enhance the driving experience with its torque-rich performance.

Ioniq Plug-In

The IONIQ Plug-In will have an all-electric range of around 31 miles thanks to a 60bhp electric motor and 104bhp petrol engine providing slightly more power than the standard hybrid.

Variants Ioniq

All models come with seven airbags (including one for the driver’s knees) and an electronic stability programme designed to help you regain control of the car if it begins to skid. Other features include Lane Departure Warning System with Lane Keep Assist (LKAS), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Smart Cruise Control (ASCC).

Family Friendly Cars

Many family buyers may be interested in SUVs and MPVs, but the traditional large family car continues to make an excellent case for itself. Each one of our selection is available with a wide range of engines, allowing you to prioritize economy, performance or a combination of the two.

Mazda6 Tourer

  • If you’re looking for a stylish, practical, good-to-drive and cheap-to run family estate, then you can’t go far wrong with the Mazda6.
  • The Mazda6 is one of the best handling cars on this list.
  • Mazda’s engineers have perfectly balanced the 6’s suspension, so it offers a great deal of driver involvement with little body lean, yet still manages to insulate you from potholes and poor road surfaces well.
  • The Mazda6 Tourer is also comfortable, well equipped and – while looks are subjective – a distinctively handsome car.
  • recommended 2.2-litre diesel, which returns an excellent 67.3mpg, yet is powerful enough to get the Mazda6 from 0-62mph in just 9.3 seconds.
  • Standard equipment levels are high, too, with all models featuring air-conditioning and cruise control, and with a large centrally mounted infotainment screen to control systems such as the DAB radio and Bluetooth.

Kia Optima saloon

  • The Kia Optima comes with plenty of equipment and the company’s excellent seven-year warranty, while the recently introduced hybrid model improves economy, emissions and overall appeal significantly.
  • The Optima is a handsome and generously equipped car and, while it was previously only available with a 1.7-litre diesel engine, the recent addition of a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version brings the Optima out of the ‘also-ran’ category.
  • The Optima hybrid attracts a Benefit-in-Kind rate of just 7%, making it seriously appealing to the company-car drivers it’s (realistically) aimed at; fuel economy is also a strong point, as the hybrid Optima returns a (claimed) 176.6mpg.
  • Inside, the Optima has a well-designed dashboard and standard sat nav is a welcome feature.
  • The entry-level Optima 2 has a seven-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, a reversing camera and DAB radio, as well as a leather steering wheel and gearlever, alloy wheels, air-conditioning and all-round electric windows.

Hyundai Creta 2017 Unveiled!!!

The Hyundai Creta 2017 has been unveiled at the Sau Paulo Auto Show in Brazil. Hyundai has been making multiple upgrades to its products and the Creta is one of its best sellers.

Creta Interior

It also features Hyundai’s latest infotainment system, which is an updated version of the current seven-inch unit. The unit now offers support for both Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. The touchscreen infotainment system is flanked by dual AC vents on both sides.

The 2017 Creta wears Hyundai’s all-new cascade grille. The said chrome grille is now wider and more prominent than the one seen on the existing Creta. The new diamond cut alloy wheels look sportier than the current ones.

Creta Exterior

It encapsulates three blacked-out chunky horizontal slats and is guarded by DRL-laden projector headlamps. The redesigned front bumper features horizontally placed fog lamps as opposed to the vertical ones in the current version.

The new Creta is powered by a 166PS 2.0-litre D-CVVT engine and a sedate 128PS 1.6-litre D-CVVT, both of which will be available with the options of manual and automatic transmissions. An advanced powertrain delivers exhilarating performance.

Creta Performance

High torque at low and middle engine speeds increases the acceleration response and strengthens driving performance. The sloping roof profile reduces forward air flow resistance and rear spoiler effect for improved fuel economy and driving stability.

Emphasising safety, now the Creta is offered with ABS and EBD as standard while mid variants get dual front airbags as side and curtain airbags, VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) are limited to the top-end SX trim.

The safety has been further enhanced by front and rear fog lamps, with defogger on the rear. Speed sensing door lock and impact sensing unlock makes it easy for the passengers to forget door locks every time they go for a ride and makes it easy to get away from the vehicle at the time of collision.
