  • 10km and 5km run, and 5km walk in support of the fight against impaired driving

Strides For Change

  • Every day, on average, 4 Canadians are killed and 174 are injured in impairment-related crashes
  • MADD estimate that between 1,250 and 1,500 people are killed and more than 63,000 are injured each year in Canada in impairment-related crashes
  • Every step taken and pledge collected will help raise much needed funds and heighten awareness of MADD Ottawa’s vital programs and services
  • The funds raised will be put to good use in local MADD Ottawa educational and support programs and assist us in our mission to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime

START TIMES

  • 10 km run @ 10:00am
  • 5 km run @ 10:10am
  • 5 km para-handcycle @ 10:15am
  • 5 km walk @ 10:20am
