Brand New Mazda CX-9 2017

When you are a fan of sports cars and also you have a family to ride with, you can always go to Mazda’s CX-9. Brand new Mazda Cx-9 2017 gives you safety, speed and also a classy look.

Mazda offers cars that you can feel safe and secure driving, based on its cutting-edge safety technologies. Let’s have a look at Technologies.

The CX-9’s SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine features an innovative dynamic pressure turbocharger that gives you power as soon as you hit the gas, nearly eliminating “turbo lag.” This instantaneous response is an important part of Mazda’s Jinba Ittai philosophy, which strives to achieve oneness between car and driver.

Weather and road conditions can change in an instant. That’s why Mazda’s available smart predictive i-ACTIV AWD all-wheel-drive system is on alert, monitoring conditions and ready to adjust power delivery to help give you optimal traction before your wheels can slip.

In every car we make, the focus is on responsiveness and driving enjoyment. Mazda’s three-row SUV is no exception. Engineered from the ground up with SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY, the CX-9 offers outstanding driving dynamics while achieving up to an EPA-estimated 28 HWY MPG.

By monitoring everything from outside temperature to throttle input and braking patterns, available i-ACTIV AWD predicts when an all-wheel drive might be needed. Then it preemptively optimizes torque distribution to help curb traction loss.

At speeds above 19 mph, available Distance Recognition Support System12 measures the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead and recommends a comfortable following distance. If your vehicle encroaches on this distance, a warning light illuminates.

That’s what available i-ACTIVSENSE safety innovations give you. They use advanced technologies like milli-wave radars and cameras to give you a sixth sense for safety, helping to alert you to hazards before they happen. It’s another way Mazda lets you focus on what matters most: driving.

2017 Kia Sportage First Drive!!!

The 2017 Kia Sportage beefs up its sport-shoe styling—and its hardware—as it tackles the crossover-SUV niche head-on. It refuses to blend in with the compact crossover crowd.

The new Sportage gets a more luxurious interior and a suite of (optional) technology.Softer touch materials that look like leather are littered throughout the cabin. Kia increased the amount of noise reduction material in the wheel wells and inside the cabin.

The appearance of space is also enhanced by the new panoramic glass sunroof which is over four inches longer than the old model. Both heated and ventilated seats with three stages of operation provide the driver and passenger with extra comfort.

Style has always been second nature to the Sportage. The “tiger-nose” grille – a hallmark of Schreyer – was moved up to accommodate the “ice-cube” fog lamps, while the headlights sweep back along the sides of the car.

The main thing to note is that the bumpers have been smoothed into the front end so smoothly that it looks like there’s no bumper there at all. Throw in the big 19-inch wheels and the new Sportage is a handsome beast.

Kia offers a choice between two four-cylinder powertrains on the 2017 Sportage. The Sportage LX and EX have a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. The Sportage SX has a 2.0-liter turbo-4 with 240 hp (237 hp in AWD versions) and 260 lb-ft. Both of these engines have been better tuned for fuel economy and mid-range performance.

Extensive use of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) combined with an extremely well-reinforced chassis design and the trusted hot-stamping process has given birth to the safest and quietest Sportage to date. The 2017 Sportage is a completely redesigned model, and crash tests have proven it a good protector.

Mitsubishi Introduces New Plug-in Hybrid EV System

Before Going into the Hybrid EV Technology, let us introduce the new Mitsubishi GT-PHEV Concept car which has this technology.

The MITSUBISHI GT-PHEV Concept is a high-end next-generation crossover SUV that easily takes many road surface conditions in stride. Featuring Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC)’s latest design language together with MMC’s advanced and proprietary electric and all-wheel control technologies, the MITSUBISHI GT-PHEV Concept empowers drivers to pilot their car with confidence under a wide range of driving conditions. It stirs the driver’s curiosity and sense of adventure as they seek to go further, as they seek to take a step beyond anything they have experienced before by using Plug-in Hybrid EV System.

Plug-in Hybrid EV System

The Plug-in Hybrid EV System provides energy conservation, and at the same time offers driving that is comfortable, safe and reliable.

When a vehicle with the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV System is decelerating, it switches to the Regenerative Mode which uses the motors as power generators to recharge the drive battery. In this way, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV System optimally controls each of the driving modes so it provides the versatility to drive as a 100% electric vehicle, use the engine to charge the drive battery, or drive using the motors and the engine at the same time, based on driving conditions.

Below are the following Driving modes:

EV Mode:

The front and rear motors drive the vehicle using electricity from the drive battery. The car operates in this mode for commuting, shopping and most other everyday driving situations.

EV Mode

When driving at medium- to low-speeds, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV System stays in EV Mode, driving the vehicle through its electric motors using electricity from the drive battery.

Series Hybrid Mode:

In this mode the motors are powered by electricity from the drive battery and from the engine generator when residual charge in the battery is low or when accelerating and other times when higher motor output is needed.

Series Hybrid Mode

When the remaining energy in the drive battery gets low, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV System’s switches to Series Hybrid Mode where its gasoline engine automatically starts and generates power for the electric motors.

Parallel Hybrid Mode:

The car is driven by its motors and by the engine at higher vehicle speeds where the engine offers better efficiency.

Parallel Hybrid Mode

When driving at high speeds, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV System switches to Parallel Hybrid Mode which also uses the power of the gasoline engine to drive the vehicle as its engine operates more efficiently than its electric motors at high RPM.

An Overview on Plug-in Hybrid EV System:
