It features Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s (MMC) active safety technologies and the advanced “connected car” technology that utilizes next-generation information systems.
Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV
The Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV is a next-generation compact SUV developed to take driving pleasure to new levels. It uses a front engine, front-wheel drive layout PHEV system that is configured with a downsized 1.1-liter direct-injection turbocharged MIVEC engine and a lightweight, compact and high-efficiency motor with a high-capacity battery.

The Mitsubishi Concept AR is a next-generation compact MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) which combines crossover maneuverability with MPV roominess. It uses a lightweight mild hybrid system which includes a downsized 1.1-liter direct-injection turbocharged MIVEC engine.

Idling Stop Technology
Idling stop systems save fuel by automatically shutting down the engine when the vehicle is static and restarting it when the vehicle returns to motion. This Technology of Mazda improves fuel economy by approximately eight percent. Mazda’s i-stop restarts the engine through combustion.
This technology enables the system to restart the engine with exactly the same timing every time, to enhance fuel economy, and to deliver smooth and comfortable acceleration for the driver at restart. The restart takes place in a mere 0.35 seconds, which is about half of the time taken by conventional starter-motor idling stop systems.
Brake Energy Regeneration System
Brake energy regeneration systems convert a vehicle’s kinetic energy into electricity as the car decelerates. The electricity is then stored for later use. It can be used to power the headlights, climate control, audio system, or any other electrical equipment. This reduces the need for the engine to burn extra fuel in order to generate electricity, and thereby improves fuel economy.
Mazda undertook development of electric vehicles with the aim of offering all our customers fun-to-drive performance and outstanding environmental and safety performance. The result is the Demio EV which offers both the sporty driving people expect from Mazda and a remarkable driving range of 200 km.
Electric vehicles have batteries and electric motors instead of engines and fuel tanks, and are powered entirely by electricity. Bio-based Engineering Plastic
Bio-based Engineering Plastic that can reduce its impact on the environment featuring high-quality finish made from plant derived materials. Mazda has succeeded in developing the automotive industry’s first high-strength heat-resistant plant-derived bioplastic for auto interior parts, and the world’s first biofabric for vehicle seat upholstery made entirely from plant-derived fiber.
This bio-based engineering plastic is used for the first time for interior parts for the all-new Mazda MX-5 was launched globally in 2015. Moving forward, it will be used for exterior parts in other production models due to the outstanding durability.

SELF-HEALING SCRATCH SHIELD
Scratch recovery clear (SRC) uses the elasticity of special chemically composed matters in a clear paint that has self-healing properties. Scratches are automatically fixed over a period of time.
Scratch Shield is a clearcoat that is more scratch resistant compared with conventional clearcoats, helping a vehicle maintain its new look for a longer period of time. The paint also repairs fine scratches, restoring a vehicle’s surface close to its original state. Nissan will continue to expand the adoption of Scratch Shield globally.
A special highly elastic resin has been combined with a conventional clearcoat to increase the paint’s flexibility. This has also increased its strength by raising the resin density.
-The paint does not self-repair if scratches are deep enough to sever the bonds within the clearcoat or if the clearcoat has been peeled off.
-The amount of time required for self-repair depends on the surrounding temperature and the depth of the scratch. In some cases, restoration may take up to one week.
SOLAR CELL SUNROOF
Solar cells are a representative form of environmentally-friendly and renewable energy. We are applying solar cells to automobile sunroofs and using the A/C fan operation to reduce the A/C load during summertime while enhancing cooling performance and cooling fuel efficiency.
While solar is great as a source of energy and something we follow diligently here, it requires a great deal of space to make it worthwhile for transportation applications. In reality, not much power would have been gained. The previous panels were 50watts or about a 6th of a solid 3’x5′ solar panel. It will reportedly be able to charge your battery pack to contribute to the vehicle’s electric range.
NANO GLASS (WIPERLESS VEHICLES)
Nanotechnology is utilized to automatically remove water or dust from the front windshield without the need for wipers. Space holographic technology is a progressive technology that displays various driving and driver convenience information on the front windshield in the form of a 3D hologram.
How does it work?
The windshield is made of a special glass with four high-tech layers that change the characteristics of glass at the molecular level.
The outermost layer is based on titanium dioxide: filters the sun and waterproofs the windshield.
The second layer of glass is actually made up of microscopic dust pushing dirt on the sides of the glass.
The third layer contains sensors that sense the dirtiness and wetness of the windshield.
Like an LCD display, the fourth layer conducts electricity, needed to power this complex multilayer windshield.
The non-pneumatic tires eliminate the possibility of flat tires with its special honeycomb-shaped tires or wheels that are covered in rubber on the outside.
Lastly, these tires practically eliminate the possibility of flat tires because the honeycomb design eliminates the need for air to be in the tire at all.

1. Adjusting the Seat Distance
The seat should always be positioned with regard to the pedals. Press the brake pedal fully with your right foot and fully depress the clutch dead pedal.
2. Adjust the rake of the seat
This should be as parallel as possible to the steering. It is impossible to reach a perfect adjustment but by adjusting the rake of the seat to an upright angle of about 110-95 degrees, we can reach a suitable adjustment.
3. Adjust the seat height
This should allow us to see forward clearly, while still having a clear view of the dashboard, and proper height relative to the wheel and pedals.
4. Adjust the head restraints
Place the headrest to a height just above your eyelids, and (more importantly) — as close to the head as possible (2-3cm). A head-restraint further than 7 centimeter (2.8 in) increases the risk of whiplash.
5. Adjust the steering height
The steering height should be adjusted to as parallel to back angle, and to a clear view of the dashboard through the rim. The ideal adjustment should also allow us to grip the wheel properly (at 9 and 3, see below), with our palms just lower than our shoulders.
